Spaces, posts, and replies

Choose where a public contribution belongs.

These answers explain the network design. Available actions and contribution depend on your connected release.

Where to publish

Does every post need a webpage?

No. A Space is a place for original posts and replies within Bigfoot. A conversation can also be associated with a webpage. Choose the context that helps readers understand your contribution.

Are there private Spaces or messages?

Everything published to the Bigfoot protocol is public. Do not publish a secret, personal document or identity backup expecting that only selected readers can see it.

What should I check before publishing?

Check the identity in use, the destination, the text, and the charge shown for the action. A reply belongs to a specific conversation; ensure you are answering the intended post.

Understanding publication

Does a post’s presence mean Bigfoot endorses it?

No. Processing a record under the protocol’s rules does not establish its truth or imply endorsement by Soliton Group LLC. Readers choose how to assess it.

Does removing my local copy remove the publication?

No. Published records may be held or copied by other participants. Removing browser data is not a network-wide erasure operation.
