Bigfoot Browser End User License Agreement
The software agreement for installing and using official Bigfoot Browser releases.
Scope and license
This EULA governs installation and use of the official Bigfoot Browser software published by Soliton Group LLC. By installing or using the browser, you agree to this EULA. Bigfoot Browser also asks you to agree to this EULA when you enable the Bigfoot Network.
In addition to browsing the web, Bigfoot Browser is a tool for connecting to and participating in the Bigfoot Network, a public network that Soliton Group LLC does not operate or control. The Network's protocol, not Bigfoot Browser or Soliton Group LLC, determines what the Network accepts, records, and accounts for. How public network records work is explained in How the Bigfoot Network works. The Bigfoot Browser Privacy Notice explains how the browser handles information.
Subject to this EULA and the applicable software licenses, Soliton Group LLC permits you to install and use an official release of Bigfoot Browser. Rights to copy, modify, build, distribute or commercialize Bigfoot-owned software are governed by the Bigfoot Source License 1.0. Third-party components remain under their own licenses and notices. This EULA does not expand those rights.
Using the browser
You are solely responsible for your use of Bigfoot Browser, for complying with the laws that apply to you, and for any content you publish or transmit through it.
You are responsible for protecting your device, local information, identity credentials and recovery materials, and for keeping any backups you need.
Websites and other services are operated by third parties. Their operators control their content, accounts, transactions, downloads, terms and information practices. Displaying or linking to them does not mean that Soliton Group LLC endorses them.
Bigfoot Browser uses a browser engine supplied for the platform on which it runs. Browser protections cannot guarantee that a website, download or other interaction is safe, private or accurate. Soliton Group LLC does not promise that every website or service will work with the browser or continue to do so.
BFT
The Network keeps its own accounting unit, BFT, which it records under its protocol rules. Soliton Group LLC does not issue, sell, hold, or control BFT and makes no representation about it, including its availability or value. Any amount the Network records may be delayed, changed, or zero, and may have no value outside the Network.
Permanent actions
Actions submitted to the Network through Bigfoot Browser, including publishing and spending BFT, are permanent and cannot be reversed, cancelled, or refunded by Soliton Group LLC.
Updates
Updates may add, change, or remove functions and may be needed for security, compatibility, or continued network participation. The browser also depends on platform components maintained by their respective providers.
We may update this EULA. The current text and its effective date are maintained at Bigfoot Browser EULA. Continuing to use Bigfoot Browser after an update means you accept the updated EULA.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bigfoot Browser is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Soliton Group LLC does not guarantee suitability for a particular purpose, security, accuracy, compatibility, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or any particular result. Bigfoot Browser and the Network may be interrupted, delayed, or unavailable at any time. You install and use it at your own risk.
Nothing provided through Bigfoot Browser is legal, tax, financial, investment, or other professional advice.
Soliton Group LLC is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of or inability to use Bigfoot Browser, including lost data, access, revenue or other direct or indirect loss or damage.
