Bigfoot Node End User License Agreement

The software agreement and operator responsibilities for official Bigfoot Node releases.

Effective date: 2026-09-08 · Revision 2026-09-08.1

Scope and license

This EULA governs installation and use of the official Bigfoot Node software published by Soliton Group LLC. By installing or running the software, you agree to this EULA.

When the software participates in the Bigfoot network, the separate Bigfoot Network Participation Terms also apply. The Bigfoot Node Privacy Notice explains how the software handles information.

Subject to this EULA and the applicable software licenses, Soliton Group LLC permits you to install and use an official release of Bigfoot Node. Rights to copy, modify, build, distribute or commercialize Bigfoot-owned software are governed by the Bigfoot Source License 1.0. Third-party components remain under their own licenses and notices. This EULA does not expand those rights.

Operating the software

You choose where the software runs, how it is configured, which connections or management controls you expose and when it operates. You are responsible for the computer, processing power, storage, bandwidth, electricity, hosting and other costs of your installation.

The software may perform configured network work automatically and may continue running without a visible window when you enable background operation or automatic restart. You are responsible for securing its installation, configuration, management controls, credentials and backups.

You must meet the protocol requirements for your node's roles, including completing required software upgrades on time, maintaining required availability and preserving the integrity of stored data, work performed and results reported. You must follow the protocol's procedures for maintenance and leaving the network, including completing or transferring outstanding work as required.

Failure to meet these requirements may reduce your node's earned network standing, its eligibility to perform network work and the amount of work it receives. New assignments may stop until the node qualifies again. Restarting, upgrading or returning to service does not automatically restore lost standing or previous assignments.

Running the software does not guarantee that it will receive network work or that you will recover its operating costs. Network charges and rewards are covered by the Network Participation Terms.

Updates

Updates may add, change or remove functions and may be needed for security, compatibility or continued network participation. You are responsible for how you deploy updates and manage automatic restarts.

We may update this EULA. The current text and its effective date are maintained at Bigfoot Node EULA.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bigfoot Node is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Soliton Group LLC does not guarantee suitability for a particular purpose, security, compatibility, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation or any particular result. You install and run it at your own risk.

Soliton Group LLC is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of or inability to use Bigfoot Node, including lost data, access, revenue, operating costs or other direct or indirect loss or damage.
