BFT economy
A token-based economy for useful network work.
Users fund demand. Nodes, browsers, and contributors serve demand. The protocol settles accepted work.
Protocol sustainability fee: 0.5%
Bigfoot includes a disclosed 0.5% protocol sustainability fee on settlement-bearing network activity. The fee funds Soliton Group LLC stewardship of the canonical protocol, browser, node software, conformance process, documentation, security process, trademarks, bootstrap infrastructure, and release process.
BFT may be used for
- Posting and write admission.
- Read retrieval and search.
- Relay use.
- Spaces, tips, bounties, and task budgets.
- Accepted network work and resource usage.
BFT does not buy
- Truth, ranking, moderation, default visibility, or namespace authority.
- Evidence authority, node assignment priority, protocol control, or conformance exemption.
- Passive yield, governance rights, or speculative entitlement.
No token sale
No token sale. No premine. No passive yield. No governance-by-token. No pay-to-rank. No pay-to-truth. No pay-to-moderate.
Reward caution
Posting, viewing, reacting, same-cluster churn, subjective moderation disputes, and unpaid or rejected bounty submissions do not mint BFT by themselves. People-facing social reward minting requires a finalized deterministic reward formula before it can be enabled.
